Mindset Monday: How do you think about change?

#MindsetMonday:

As we navigate change initiatives and respond to what may honestly seem complete chaos at times, it's important to understand a few fundamentals that are the keys to success.

The #1 predictor of success in the midst of change is NOT your SOPs, action items, KPIs or accountability metrics.

The #1 predictor of success in the midst of change is mindset.

The way you think about change determines your actions during change which influences your results after change.

So often our inclination is to do something first.

I'd like to challenge you to stop and think first, then determine what to do from there.

In short, "measure twice, cut once".

It's more important to spend time understanding how you and your people need to think about change in order for them to do what needs to be done in the midst of change.

Spending time focused only on "doing" means revisiting and reinforcing the actions.

Investing time cultivating the right mindset and thinking about change creates a solid foundation that leads to agility and innovation in the midst of change.
